Salesforce and Anthropic announced Claudeforce on August 26, 2026 (press release), and it featured heavily at Dreamforce (SiliconANGLE).

What is in it

  • Salesforce in Claude — CRM context and actions inside Claude, launched with a set of prebuilt sales skills for prospecting and pipeline upkeep.
  • A Claude Code plugin — for developers working on Salesforce projects.
  • Claude inside Salesforce — Claude is available as a reasoning model in Agentforce.

A sensible way to start

  1. Begin with read-only skills (pipeline summaries, account research) before allowing writes to records.
  2. Review your permission model first — actions run under your Salesforce permissions and governance.
  3. Pick one team and one workflow, and compare the result against how that work is done today.
